This is delicious stuff… Add it to pizza topping sauce and the pizza is suddenly something really special. Enhances pasta sauce.and cassaroles too. I love sun dried tomato paste and have been cooking with it for years and this stuff is REALLY yummy!

So versatile that it’s untrue. Adds real depth of flavour & helps to bring out the taste of the other ingredients. Livens up houmous, tagines, curries, soups, Italian dishes, you name it. Has an intense flavour, but mellow (“with an almost caramel like sweetness,” according to Sacla). Have been using this stuff for years & keep a jar almost permanently in the fridge.

I find this the easiest way to oomph-up the taste of tomato in many dishes, with it adding a deep flavour to everything from pasta dishes and pizza to stews and even combined with cheese on toast (put it under the cheese). Keep it in the fridge when opened and use a teaspoon to dose.

Have used this for years in chilli con carne, cottage pies etc as a flavoursome and premium alternative to tomato puree. More expensive but tastes much better.
