The piece of salmon I received was pale (farm raised) and not a thick mid section. So disappointed.
The description is Atlantic Salmon with no mention of it being farm raised… a bit deceptive

Freshest salmon that I have had (at a restaurant or grocery store) in years. I don’t know if I purchased on a lucky day when the fisherman showed up in person to drop off the catches of the day (or flew in from Alaska) but regardless it tasted amazing and I’ll purchase again soon.

For some reason, every time I order delivery from Amazon from Whole Foods, and I order the center cut salmon at a premium price, sometimes they bring beautiful single cuts from the middle of the fillet, and other times like today, they bring the tail pieces? Which should be sold at a discount in my opinion, I think they may need to train their order fulfillment staff a little better, this is happened quite a few times, very disappointing when it does. Otherwise, the salmon is fantastic, fresh, and a very good value, I just can’t seem to get the cut that I order consistently.

This salmon is wonderful especially if you grill. Being the center cut portion there is the thin strip that dried out.
